Default Noise from Parking brake

I have noticed that whenever I put my car on P there is some sound that comes from the car. It’s more when parked on a slope but still there when parking on a normal even surface. It doesn’t effect my drive but was still curious about why it is and would it have any long term issues. I am sure it’s from the parking brake and not from the gear box. Anyone knows anything about it
I have attached a video, if u here carefully at the end u will here a sound liken(peoum) when I move my stick from d to p

thanks in advance

Your eParkingBrake is probably in AUTO mode so what you're likely hearing is the brake setting when you shift into Park.

You certainly will hear some noise when the eBrake is engaged.

Yes, it's just the automatic parking brake. If you want to test the theory, turn off the auto parking break in the settings and see if it goes away.

My last two cars had electronic parking brakes, though not automatic, and make pretty much the same sound when engaged or disengaged.
