Largest Gas Fill?

The recommendation used to be that you should never let the gas tank get too close to empty because dirt sinks to the bottom of the tank over time and you can have it get into the injectors if you start to pump fuel at the bottom of the tank. With modern filters, I don't know if that can still happen.

Bingo! And to make matters worse, the newest fuel tanks permanently mold the fuel pump into place rather than installing it after the fact. Meaning that if/when someone burns up a fuel pump, they might be looking at replacing the entire assembly.

Not a good practice to run so low on fuel. I don't know about the dirt at the bottom either but don't want to find out the hard way... Never below 1/4 and always top tier fuel...
