I am posting this to see if anyone has done anything as far as the curb rash on the rims or wheels? Curb rash I think happens to all. I had scrapped a bit and scarred a rim in the rear making a short turn in a supermarket. I know that one can sand it down, clean it and repaint it. As far as I can tell. If asked I'll post a pic of what mine looks like to see what others compare to.

I recommend against a DIY repair. Your best option is to call your local dealer and ask if they’ll recommend someone for you. Most dealers have vendors.

i did scrape my wheel on my 2013 and found a guy who would come to your house with a van and do repairs. He sanded, buffed, primered and painted the wheel and when finished the repair could not be seen. $40.00 per wheel... The novice couldn't make a repair this good. I would recommend you search around online and perhaps you''ll find a similar service in your area.
Most of these guys do work for the area car dealers and work from a travelling van with many shades of gray wheel paint.
