Default Is The Engine Air Filter Different For 2020 U.S. vs. Japan Vehicles?

Hi. I just took delivery of a U.S. built 2020 Ultra Luxury and am shopping for engine air filters. Wherever I look, I can only find the description below which indicates these filters are for only Japan built ES's. The sellers (I like Monster Discount Parts, who is cheaper than MyLParts) do not show a second part number for U.S. built cars.

So, the question is, has anyone found that this part number below also fits U.S. built ES350's?

Air Filter
Part Number: 17801-F0050
Browse more in Engine - Air Intake
Other Names: Element Sub-Assembly, Ai
Replaces: 17801-25020
Description: ES350. 3.5L, japan built.
Notes: Included With Air Cleaner Assembly.

Good luck with this one, not sure many owners have replaced air filters yet. Why are you replacing the air filter on a brand new car?

Same engine since 2013 3.5L. V6 so don't know why there would be a difference... Fram air filter # CA12377 for a 2020 Lexus ES350 made in America...

Don't need to yet. But I'm ordering mats now and so worth ordering filters and wiper inserts at the same time. The inserts on my previous ES wore out far earlier than expected. Nice to have a few spares parts on the shelf.

Engine compartment configurations change. For example, the air filters for my 2014 ES350 do not fit the latest ES generation, whereas the cabin filters for my 2017 RX350 apparently fit the latest ES's.

Below is the response from Discount Parts Monster:

Hello,

Part number 17801-F0050 is a direct fit and replacement for the 3.5L V6 equipped ES350, regardless of whether the vehicle is US or Japan built. The part will fit your vehicle without issues.

Thank you!

I clean the wiper blades with alcohol every month or so and the originals are still like new after nearly 18 months.
