Illuminated Door Sill?

The removal of the old, non-illuminated piece was fairly easy.
Now I just need to know about the wiring and where it plugs into.
I am not sure which side panel(driver’s side?) needs to be removed to get to the wiring.

Also, any tips or tricks to getting the push pins out without damaging them too much?

I did this on my 2019 and I think that it's probably the same on your car. I posted information about the install some months ago. The first side took me about one hour and the second side about 30 minutes. Both kick panels must be removed, and each door sill plugs in on their side of the car. The wiring runs from the middle of the illuminated sill along the threshold and on up to the terminal which is behind the kick panel where it simply plugs in. It is an easy install. Here's some photos of the finished job.

I looked for the installation instructions but can't find them. If you call a dealer - any dealer - and ask for them they'll send you a PDF.

Pizzaman get yourself a set of panel removal tools either on Ebay or at Harbor Freight. They're inexpensive and work well for this type of installation. Use it gently on the kick panels and try to sense where the clip is located by feel. Then pop it out and go on to the next one. There's probably 3-4 clips to remove on each panel. Give it a shot and GOOD LUCK!

Here are the instructions for the 2019 Avalon, I doubt they are dramatically different.

Thank you everyone. I received the trunk sill and installed it in a little less than an hour. Pretty straight forward and just needed to know where to plug it in.
I will hopefully get the door sills this week and can install those next.

Avalon has them for front and rear? All I could find was front. Dealer installed theM for 100 bucks

The matching set includes all 4, but only the front two are lighted.
