Am I missing something, or did Lexus quit putting fog lights on their cars? I noticed none of them at the dealer has fog lights. Not that we use them, just curious.

Album Cover Art only shows when parked? Supposedly a safety feature. Apparently Chrysler does not love me, as they allow cover art while in motion on my RAM truck.

Anyone figured out a workaround, safety bypass, etc?

Certainly here in the UK our triple eye headlights (ours are actually 4 because of the adaptive lights) feature multi weather lights. When it is foggy the headlights lowered and bounced the light off the road like an independent fog light would do. So, there are fog lights on the front but they are contained within the triple headlight unit. I can’t vouch for the single headlight unit cars.

You need CarPlay and The CARPLAY2AIR wireless option is the best. There is a great thread on it.

Cover art visible in my wife's 17 RX all the time but not in my ES. I guess her RX is unsafe

She has a Samsung S20... not Apple, and she prefers using the USB thumb drive for ease of use. Hoping maybe someone would make a program to defeat it, similar to what they've done for the BMW's and Audi's, etc.

Exactly... you should park it and not drive it again until Lexus makes it safe.

These lights don't look like that... must be something for the UK models maybe?

Cover art, no on the '19 ES but yes on the '19 NX

Last car I had, was equipped with rear fog lights as part of the tail assembly. I liked that feature a lot.

Rear fog(s) are compulsory in the UK but not the front. I like the way the triple lights adapt for rain and fog conditions without the need for a low down front fog light.

works on regular music/apple music. in bluetooth it's the generic toyota wiki picture/"pop" design over bluetooth.
