Just a quick update. I went to the Lexus distributor today and it is confirmed that the same "flow marks" are also present in the headlights of other Lexus ESs in the showroom. It is interesting that the headlights of the UX, NX and RX did not have these flow marks.
My 2019 ES300H Lux doesn't have the flow marks. I looked a few times but can't see any defect. Then again mine is the triple LED headlights.
As you can see from the photo above, under normal lighting, or even when the headlights are on, you won't see anything. The Lexus technician informed me that he found the flow marks even in the LS500 headlights, again under specular lighting conditions and very close inspection. It's not an issue at all.

Interesting. Good thing I don't see it with the naked eyes. I guess out of sight out of mind!
I was washing my car this weekend and saw them. triple beam led lights. 2019
Those marks finally showed up this weekend on my triple beam led headlights. I didn't see those all Spring and Summer. I wonder if it is weather related as it's been cold here as we are approaching winter months.
I'm in the market for a 2021 ES. Flow marks in my headlights are a deal breaker for me. Is it only happening in the triple beam LED units, or are they showing up in the base headlights too?
Those water streaks just showed up on one of Headlights When I initially read the post I did not see those there so they must’ve just appeared this is unacceptable man very poor quality control on these headlamps And it looks like this is something that’s just gonna get worse it’s not gonna get better if it’s coming up now just gonna keep happening Fact of the matter is his headlights were poorly made

So this happens on your 2014 ES as well or you didn't update your profile?
I don't care what BS these service advisers are slinging at owners with this issue. In my opinion, and it was confirmed by a senior Toyota technician who I'm acquainted with, there should be no way that condensation should be able to form or enter the headlight enclosure. After all it is a sealed unit This is just another issue where Lexus is choosing to sling BS and hope it sticks...
In all the cars I've owned including my 2019 Ultra Lux ES350 I have never had water or condensation of any kind in any headlight enclosures. The boss owns a 2014 Honda and the glass is as clear as when it was new. No condensation visible...

yeah it is annoying but the SA's hands are tied. Hopefully there will be a recall in the future but I highly doubt it. It appears to be just as a cosmetic thing and doesn't effect the performance. Most people probably don't even notice it. We are the exceptions and the 1% who really pay close attention.

I didn’t notice it when I originally seeing this post I went out and looked at my headlights in every angle that was not there just a few days ago it showed up on my car on my left headlight this is an issue for me as the other stated there should be no condensation water marks inside your lens that means there’s moisture getting in
