Default Average Length of Time between Build and delivery?

Can those of you who ordered your ES discuss how long it took from the day it was built till the time it reached your dealer? My ES is scheduled for a build date of 10/28. My sales rep. told me he expected my car would arrive around Thanksgiving, or about 30 days after it is build. Does this sound OK based on your experience? Thanks.

About 3 weeks plus another few days to get car from ordering dealer to my dealer. My car had already been ordered by the original dealer so one month total in your case sounds perfectly reasonable.

I've NEVER hear of a Lexus being built that fast. Are you confusing getting one shipped from another dealer or buying an incoming vehicle from a dealer? I inquired about this when I bought mine and they told me it could take several months. Again I am talking about an actual FACTORY order.

My car was allocated to another dealer and flagged "available for trade". It is scheduled to be built on 10/28. My dealer put my name on the car, so after it is built and delivered to the distribution center in Houston, it will be trucked to my dealer. So my car was already in the pipeline to be built.

Kentucky built ES's ship quicker than Japan built cars (naturally!) but the elapsed
time to get a distinct custom build allocated and scheduled still takes 12 weeks before
being ready to ship. Getting a suitable configured car redirected is a common workaround.

I placed an order for my ES350 f sport on 1/13/20 and received the car on 2/27/20. The dealer said they used a "dealer spec" slot so maybe that was why I received it quicker.

It took me 25 days from the day the car came off the Production line, until I picked up at the dealer . It was a order specifically for me. The only problem was with COVID-19,we ordered the car in January, but it did not get built until June.

You have a lot more patience than I do. Hope the wait was worth the enjoyment you are getting now .

I once Factory Ordered a Corvette for a customer in April that did
not get allocated to be built that model year. Quick rescue by my
sales manager by offering the same build and but the year newer
car and honor the agreed on price. Back in the day of General Motors
raising prices 5 - 7% year over year it was a pretty good deal.
Fast forward to August and the new "triple Black" Black paint, black
top, black interior Corvette Convertible arrives! VIN was ...XYZ000001.
First one of the year! I would have thought Vette guys would be posting
on the (not yet invented) internet! Nothin' Crickets "Oh, it's here finally?"
