Default Speaker Upgrade?

You guys are right. The base speakers in this car are pretty terrible. Well, I came from the Bang and Olufsen in an Audi so these Lexus ones sound especially bad. I basically just notice sound on the corner speaker, that's about it. There's really no balance whatsoever and the 3D surround is total nonsense. Has anyone tried upgrading the front dash speakers? Corner or center? Any recommendations?

I'm waiting for Crutchfield to release speaker adapters for this car.

I would like to start with replacing the front door speakers and rear sub woofer. The rear deck sub is visible from trunk and it's a real joke of a speaker for a $50K + vehicle. I'm sure the rest are the same cheap speakers.

I actually hate the speakers and sound worse than the infontainment system everyone always talks about. Infotainment I can learn and get used to, but even after 2 weeks, the sound is still bad.

I've adjusted the fade just slightly to rear. Max treble, mid and base. It's better, but only if volume is cranked up.

Definitely not a system that should be in a luxury car.

improved. Just depends on how much time and money you want to put into your particular solution because everyone has their own preferences/limits when it comes to car audio.

Happy researching!
My man just bumped a 2-1/2 year old post just to tell someone to do their own research
