For what it’s worth, my 2021 has shifted smoothly since I went to premium 91 octane gas, though the jerkiness and hesitation in my case was probably due to engine and not transmission if a change in fuel cured the problem. Enjoy your new car!

I bought my 2023 F sport new. It already has 12,700 miles on it (I have a very long back/forth commute to work). I haven't noticed any transmission slipping.

Did you try different brands of 87 Octane? Or 89 Octane? This is the first time I remember hearing about needing higher octane in the 6 cylinder ES.
