Issues with the 2019 ES-350 audio system have been well documented in this forum. How does the 2021 model compare? Have there been any improvements?

I've never tested a 19 but the 21 does not seem to be plagued from reported "no audio in back when fader is used" problem.

I faded my 21 to the back and the audio does suck cause the speakers suck, however volume is sufficient and appears to sound normal in terms of bias.

I believe that the audio system in the 19's is identical to the 20 and 21's... and I wasn't aware that there were any issues with the 2019 ES 350 audio system.

There was a TSB on the amp for the base system.

I've read the comments and honestly I don't think there ever were issues with the ML system! I am very happy with mine. One essential to getting good sound is playing back high quality source material. I stream everything from Tidal but also use my USB with carefully selected CD rips. Some people are over the top picky when it comes to car sound.

was this only for 2019 or 2020 ? or was there a TSB for 2021 also ?
i have the standard speaker audio system in my 2021 and the rear sucks really sucks
i cant even find a online resource to find out speak sizes to even replace with aftermarket speakers nothing
so its annoying.

This is the info I had seen:

L-SB-0020-20 is for 2019 ES350/300h's older than a specific VIN break.

Some 2019 model year ES 350 and ES 300h vehicles equipped with the base audio system may exhibit a front-rear sound imbalance where the rear sound bias is less than expected even when fading the sound to the rear. The amplifier logic has been updated to address this condition. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.
See your dealer, it's covered under the 48 month/50K warrantee.
