I have 40,000 posts on ClubLexus...I have heard of the IS500.
Thats not an "expensive new V8 from Lexus", thats the same IS model, refreshed, with the same old 5.0L V8 used in the RCF and LC500, and its not expensive.
The IS500 is a niche enthusiast car that will be made in small numbers, and if you would be made not to buy it by stories of some trim that got discolored on another model...it wasn't for you anyways lol
