What kind of upholstery is used in the Lexus ES300h?
The upholstery for my back seat door was damaged when I stupidly transported a metal ladder in the car. I used a towel to protect the upholstery touching the bottom of the ladder, but neglected to use anything to protect the upholstery touching the top part of the ladder sticking out the window. My fault.
Now the synthetic leather is damaged, and I need to get it repaired or replaced. In order to figure out my options, I need to first figure out what type of material was damaged. Hence my question.
I consulted our original purchase papers, but it didn't indicate what material was used for the upholstery. This is the base model, and the online documentation suggests that Lexus uses synthetic leather. Does Lexus only use NuLuxe in their 2019 cars, or does Lexus use different types of synthetic leathers?
I've attached photos in case that helps.

I would contact my local Lexus dealership. The two in my area subcontract out to an independent leather repair company. They have done some amazing repairs to our seats and dash board which is the same material as the top of your door.

Nuluxe if it's synthetic.

There are people who specialize in doing repairs of damage like that in your pictures. They start by removing any rough spots in the damaged area. Then, they use some sort of filler to raise the surface to its original level. They, then, can match the grain to that of the rest of the panel, and they spray the area to match the original color.
In most areas, there are people who do this kind of work. They might, on a monthly schedule, go to all of the dealers in an area to do repairs on both new and used cars in their inventories. One of the companies that does this kind of work in my area and that has franchises throughout the country is called Color Glo. If you do an internet search, you should be able find out if they have a franchise in your area or what others might do that kind of work in your area.
Replacing the damaged panels would be very expensive. A repair is a much more practical option. I'm sure that your dealer could arrange for you to have a repair done when the repair guy is working at their dealership. But, if you can make arrangements with the repair person directly and meet up with him/her at some place where he/she is working or at the repair person's shop, you would save a good amount of money by cutting out the profit that the dealership would take and add to the cost of the repairs.

A repair would likely be more than just buying a used panel on eBay and popping it in in 10 min or less. I have seen them go for between $200 and $400 a pop. probably $250 for a rear.
if it wasn't a lease, i'd honestly try to just clean it up. buff whatever i can out, buy a $10 vinyl/leather repair kit and spot repair the area as best i can and call it a day.

New door card? Interesting suggestion. What keywords would I use? Would I need specifically one for the Lexus ES300h, or is there a resource I can use to look up all of the door cards on all of the Lexus models that would match the rear, left-side passenger door for a Lexus ES300h?

The problem with replacing the panel, whether with a new panel or with a used one, is that the new panel will be coming from a different production lot than the original panel. That being the case, the color match probably will be okay, but that isn't necessarily going to be the case.

Adding to grp52's correct answer, even the Luxury Trim with Leather Seats and Ultra Luxury Trim with
Semi-Aniline Leather have NuLuxe door trim panels. The interior trim repair services can do a very nice
job but on the nearly flat and right in your sightline location by the door handle it will always show a bit.

Obviously you have to wait until the one you need is available, but if you have the time it will pop up sooner or later.
