They might have just forgotten to put it back in with the fuel pump recall. I'm quite sure they didn't need to use your jack... I'd go back and ask the SM if they found one... and if not, ask for a new one... After all, one needs a jack in the trunk...

He went in for the the 5k check and didn't mentioned any other work. I could see there is a chance a sloppy worker forgot. A friend of mine took his Tesla in for some work and the tech forgot to put 6 screws back in. He drove it for a week until discovered it by accident due a part hanging out. He was pissed.
