2020 ES 350 F Sport spots/discoloration on dark trim around grill and trunk
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else had or noticed spots and/or discoloration on the dark chrome trim piece around the front grille and rear dark chrome piece under the L emblem in back?
It almost looks like water spots but upon closer inspection it looks like dark spots that won’t come out. Are these scratches? Some substance come in contact with it that’s causing this? Could it be oxidation? The spots look black almost like the chrome is coming off? Never ran into this issue before.
If it is oxidation will chrome polish from 3M work or chrome polish turtle wax? Mothers gold?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Perhaps hard water? I get water spots but they come right off with window cleaner.
