What quirks/annoyances do you have with the 7ES?

No sunglass holder. My 2004 ES had one. I don't understand why they would eliminate such a convenient feature.

The jerky trans to me is the biggest annoyance. I just drove my ES on a 800 mile round trip this past weekend. The trans is no issue on these long highway cruises but quite an issue in stop and go.

The 8 speed tranny is a major annoyance. The 6 speed on gen 6 cars was as smooth as silk...

Is it cause the door sill is high? I find the armrest (upper ledge) of the door to be the perfect height when holding on to the wheel.
Here's another annoyance of mine... speaking of the steering wheel. When I drive I usually use my left hand and if I change lanes, my palm brushes up against the steering wheel buttons changing what menus i'm in as i'm driving, even possibly/getting close to disabling some of the safety features. it hasn't happened yet, but one of these days i'll inadvertently disable the safety features. not to mention it's just annoying to be pressing buttons while changing lanes. so i have to pay extra attention where my hand is on the wheel. I feel like they could've positioned the buttons a half inch inward for extra comfort.

Speaking of the steering wheel, I find it annoying when I'm pulling into a parking space and I hear the beeping because I'm getting close to something, but can't see the graphic on the dashboard because the steering wheel is turned and blocking it.

It's not on the big screen?

Yes, it's on the big screen, but by the time my attention moves to the big screen, I'm practically parked already. I first look to the dash, but when it's blocked, I end up going by the sound of the beep. Also, for some reason I find the big screen graphic more difficult to read and navigate with.

My biggest issue is the cup holder is in the way of the shifter. My passenger uses the front holder and I use the one right behind the shifter. With a yeti, just kept hitting it all the time while driving. Other than that love my Fsport.

I would say the port where you plug you iphone/usb cable does not make sense as you cant close the nice wood lid and use the usb outlet at the same time.
go in your car and see the difference with the lid closed and opened. With the lid closed it compliments all of the other wood trim.
usb should be moved to the center storage or at least dropped down so the lid can be closed. bad design "visually", great design for functionality
