Thanks for sharing LS500Fan.
My problem is with the wiring. I feel confident installing the lights, but I'm not sure how to run it to power. I bought a fuse tap off Amazon and am researching how to run the wire from the trunk to the front of the car. Next week is my final week of class so I should be able to get to it soon. I'll update you when I'm done.

FYI I didn't buy the rear LED light bar accessory (yet). I'm working on an interior LED project first. I didn't want to buy the aftermarket pieces that include either black or light bamboo wood because that doesn't match my new 2022 walnut open pore look pieces. So I'm trying something myself. I am still experimenting so I may not have a "build thread". This is just FYI and a tease I suppose.

Basically I'm changing my dim, nearly-invisible stock "ambient" lighting with brighter colored lighting, more like BMW. I would ideally have ambient lighting as nicely integrated as a Mercedes with as many options but then I'd have to buy a Mercedes and I don't want to do that LOL

Yeah. I ordered it through Aliexpress. It took about a month to receive. Some of delay was due to the seller renegotiating shipping costs.

if you get it installed and like it I very well might buy one too, I’ve just been waiting for someone to get it installed and make sure it works before I go to the trouble.

Any updates yet?

This looks pretty cool when not using the brake or turn signal function. I like the startup mode like the Audi's use for their lights.

Okay! I got them installed FINALLY!
Still got to figure out how to get the right turn signal to work.

Right turn signal does not “fill” like the left one.

I fixed it. Just needed to splice into the yellow turn signal wire.
I also didn't need to run the red power wire. The LED worked just fine without it.
Here's an updated video

How's the fit and finish? Are they precise and aligned? Please take some close up photos.

I'm pretty impressed with the fit & finish.
The alignment of the pieces are slightly off but not enough to bother me.
There are also no gaps between the light and the body.

I might connect the red wire eventually. I think this powers the animation when I turn the car off.
It's almost 110 degrees in TX right now. It was tough finishing this yesterday while trying not to drip too much sweat and fighting off the mosquitos.

That looks Awesome!

Was it as hard to install as you thought that it'd be? Did you have to splice all the connection wires to install it?

Thanks in advance!
