when buying a couple of months ago, I asked the dealer for $1000 off MSRP, which was accepted instantly after asking the sales manager. Which suggests to me, I could have probably got more off!
now that its the end of the 2023 model year (when do 2024's come out? ) I would think you could do better?

When I bought my 2016 one, I bought it right at the model end, and got several thousand off MSRP as the next year model had already hit the lots. of course, that was a different car buying era

Not sure about those "H" trims, the gas trims have been on 6% - 10% off MSRP months ago
Price is declining obviously, they can't sell, unless it is some rare trim, such as 300H Ultra Lux F-Sport with Mark Levinson and Panoramic sunroof ???

Why can't they sell? Are buyers waiting for the presumably "all new" 2025 Gen 8 model? I'll be thrilled to replace my 2021 with a tried and true 2024 at the end of next model year for $7,500 off MSRP.

I'd be surprised if the Ultra Luxury with all the toys has come down all that much. Edmunds is generally a little high, but they're still listing the expected street price of the UL at less than $1,000 under MSRP.

What trim you're looking for? F-Sport 350 gas trims are def. on sale you may find up to 10% off if the dealer can't sell those cars for 30+ days
Base and Premium 350 gas - you should not get any problem getting 5% off, so ask for 10% and go from there. Hell some dealers automatically give $2500 off for those trims, they email me everyday...
Go to your local Lexus dealers' websites and look around...

Look at this thread, this broker offers a lot of 10% off on various Lexus models (I don't see ES but it should be around that range of 6%-10% on selected trims), that tells you there is even more discount if you willing to put in the time:

I got offered at my Lexus dealership $44k in trade a few days ago for my 23 ES300h Premium with a handful of additional options. It has 9500 miles on it and I bought it in December for 48,300 if memory serves (all fees and dealer add ons included in there everything except tax and registration). Pearl white with black interior with the black open pore wood trim.

So there’s apparently still good demand for these.

Is it Park Place or Sewell?
Which model you are looking at to replace it with?

Thank You.

There seem to be deals on some versions more than others. I suspect you'd have an easier time getting a discount if you don't hold out for Ultra Luxury, hybrid powertrain or Mark Levinson.

What are you thinking of getting instead?

quite possibly, yes. There were not many cars around that were UL ES300h with the color scheme and add ons I wanted, and I drove 70 miles to get the one I bought. So maybe $1000 off was about as good as I could get.

makes sense that the more common base models would offer more discount. Also, at least in the LA area, the less popular colors seem to sit around more, like white and the creamish color. So if someone doesnt mind what color, maybe this would translate to more dollars off for those?

Bought it at Park Place, Sewell offered me 44k in trade. Considering trading for a 300h FS Handling as my car is a bit too floaty for me and the seat cushions pinch my thighs. Really like the car otherwise.

Although I’m also tempted to trade for a CPO Porsche Panamera. Probably should wait to see how the year ends with my business though.
