So I bought a 2019 ES 350 Premium today.

I asked about starter using enformDealer told me it is unavailable. I had to purchase the Lexus long range starter (seperate remote). Dealer wanted $1200 installed, I worked them down to $700. Did I get hosed on the starter? I tried using the key fob (3 presses of lock, then hold). didn't work.

Any ideas?

I had an aftermarket Audiovox RS system installed for $300.00... Not by the dealer... They wanted $1000.00 for factory RS.

I don't understand why your key fob RS won't work. I thought all ES worked with the 3 presses... I'd try it again because sometimes it's a learning process. GOOD LUCK!

playmkr56 is posting from Ontario Canada. If you go to the Lexus Canada Enform web site and select a 2019 ES 350 Premium model you'll find "Remote Connect" isn't an option on that package (or any other package) in that ES model year. That changed with the 2020 model year.

Oh OK. Thanks for clarifying. Seems like the Canadians get screwed... My 2019 has fob and smartphone RS... OP paid a lot for his aftermarket RS system...
