I bet that top leather piece comes off easily and i'll bet there's some plastic under there to dampen. i'll check it out one of these days.

I have the same rattle. Were you able to find the source of it?

picking it up today. Dealer service says it's cured by insulating the leather piece above instrument cluster.

I thought we talked about this in another thread. yes i solved that rattle above the instrument cluster. the leather piece takes 3 seconds to pop off. put some insulation underneath (tape, foam, an old sock, whatever you have) and put it back. No noises since.

If you hear any rattle under the windshield, first check the two 10 mm bolts that hold the plastic under the wipers. They can be loose.

Issue resolved! Asked dealer to insulate leather panel above instrument cluster. Car is nice and quiet now as Lexus should be.

Anyone else got a sun visor rattle? I had the dealership fix it once, but it's back. They had tightened the screws, but now that I know how to undo the cover. I figure I would take the screws out and add some blue threadlocker to it to see if that helps. The "fix" worked for about a week.

Update:
I tightened the screws that hold the sun visor in but that didn't seem to fix the issue. The rattle seems to be within the visor itself, possibly from being able to extend it out. Maybe I'll look for a way to disassemble it.
