Default Bulb Housing in Courtesy Light

Hey guys, so I just ordered some T10 leds bulbs to replace the factory ones in the door courtesy lights, but can’t seem to figure out how to remove the bulb from the housing. Does anyone know how to remove it without breaking it lol ? Also, are these really T10 bulbs, or some other type of bulb ?

So I was able to get it out of the housing (without breaking anything), and this is what the light looks like.

Ah cool. That looks like a T10 what you bought might plug in place of it. Of course it depends on the style you have some are flat circuit board shaped like the factory or could be one of many styles T10 is probably the most common LED bulb.

Gotcha, the shape is what had me slightly confused, as the ones I ordered seemed to be a little rounder. Hopefully it should be a simple installation, but if not, I guess I’m going to have to modify the housing a bit.

Did that last year. i don't think you're replacing any leds and even if you did, they'd be just as dim. you're going to need to do custom and get creative. been there done that.

Not really concerned with the brightness of the leds, just replacing them with green ones so that I can achieve that "custom" look hehe. Again, if I'm going to have to get creative with the fitment, then so be it

By custom, you mean that "kid" look. Not my cup of tea for a premium adult car.

That's okay. He's not doing it to your car.
