Default Dumb nav-usage question

Just used the nav for one of the first times. Set the destination, reached it, then the on-screen pushpin (looks like the Target logo with a point on its bottom) refused to know its place and disappear. I found a list of recent destinations, but it did not appear to be editable. Pushing on it on the screen similarly had no results. I have no intention of going there again; how do I get rid of the damned thing?

See the "Deleting recent destinations" section on page 86 of the [ pdf version] 2022 LEXUS ES250,ES300H,ES350 NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL.
