Use what the factory specifies in manual for oil. Don't deviate.

The gas mileage is what it is. Nothing will change that potentially except time and break-in.
That's what I'm hoping, seems to get slightly better as it breaks-in. Currently at 2900 miles, first 1000 miles it wouldn't go above 17-18 mpg lol. Maybe a break-in Oil change wouldn't be a bad idea, or does the dealer do it at the 5K free service?

And yes, there are some engine changes in the intervening years. That's why your new car is considerably more powerful.
May be more powerful on paper, but man is this thing is pig. My 2007 feels so much quicker, by the time this thing gets up and goes my older ES is gone. I think it's the weight that ruined it on these, it just feels so much more heavier and boaty. And yea I'll probably stick to 5k intervals. Also does anybody have a link to the differences or updates on the 2GR-FE that were put into these? Not that familiar with Lexus coming from BMW, but in BMW terms every few often there are "TU" Technical Updates made to the engines which is what I'm guessing happened here. Thanks!

Congrats! It's been about a month with mine. I got it at MSRP which I guess is okay but I've always gotten cars below MSRP, dealer told me they were selling them at 5-10k Markup and one of the first IS500's at the dealer sold for 40k markup which is crazy.

Btw, I am also getting horrendous gas mileage (18mpg) even with the eco mode on. I am at 270 miles.

It's an F-sport. Remember that F-sport is a package and Stickers will display standard features on the left or beginning and followed by the upgrades/features/packages and so on. It's an F-sport and there is nothing about a pano roof listed nor does this vehicle have a Pano roof. Just a regular moonroof. You can also tell by the grille. It's an F-sport with 19" wheels. Not sure why you believe it isn't. I'm surprised no one has pointed this out.

First free oil change at 10K.

Just saying the sticker you displayed was NOT for an FSport. It clearly shows a pano roof, wood trim, 17" wheels all from a NON-FSport car. No FSport sticker will have those items listed.

Looks like we both missed the OP's post explaining the reason for the 2 stickers. So he did have an F-sport sticker to coincide with the F Sport photo. So I stand corrected, but only by 50%. But regardless the Prem. still gets 18"s not 17"s ;-)

Congrats on the New Car! Great exterior color choice and I do like the F-sport styling. The aggressive grille goes perfectly with the Triple beams! Would be nice if it could be included on UL's but that's wishful thinking.

Just picked up a Cloudburst Gray/Rioja Red 2022 ES350 F-Sport and I had a few concerns. Car is beautiful, drives and performs great, the Mark Levinson and Triple Beam Headlights really set it off. Coming from a 2007 ES350 with 340k miles (Still Daily it), the older ES gets so much better gas mileage then the new one and is so much quicker. It is to the point my M340I FBO + E85 Tuned is getting more range with a smaller tank. I have not gotten the average MPG to go above 22.3 driving it like a grandma, while my 2007 flies and averages 25-27 mpg with a heavy foot. Also my cousins 2020 ES350 averages 27 MPG while again mine wont go above 22.3. I will include the spec sheets for both cars and interestingly enough there is a mpg discrepancy between the 2020/2022 even though drivetrain wise everything is the same. Does anyone know what they could have possibly changed? My cousins 2020 and my 2022 drive exactly the same can't tell a difference in throttle mapping/takeoff, etc. Another concern is the use of 0W-20 oil from factory and recommended 10k service intervals. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 3.5 V6 in my 2007 and the 2022 ES350 is virtually the same no? Couldn't tell of any major changes by opening the hoods and looking at the engine bays from the top on either of them. Anyone on here have any issues of 5W-30 long term instead of 0W-20? Can't imagine it'll go 340k like my older one with 0W-20 and 10k service intervals. Besides this, the car is perfect. Quality is great and I'm sure it'll hold up like my older one being a Lexus. Any insight/help from others on here would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Beautiful car. I was considering the light grey color but will consider this tone for my purchase. That does look like Farmers Insurance Parking
