You are absolutely correct... I have friends that own high-end luxury cars and was informed their windows are always removed when it comes to tinting. I had no idea.

If you don't think so visit any tint shop and look at the cars in the service bays you'll see doors in various levels of disassembly.
"None of this is true" lmao. What a joke. So I was high on crack when I've taken my last 5 vehicles to various tint shops and watched them from start to finish do the job. If you feel like going to a place that does all this and charges $1000 for a tint by all means, but not all of us are Jeff Bezos. But regardless you were already disproven by the OP who said their vehicle was tinted as I described.

I would never ever get my windows tinted or have any shop or even the dealer remove door panels or trunk panels on my car for tint or for adding a rear spoiler to the car. Things get stretched and damaged when doing this.

If you're uncomfortable about getting windows tinted it's a good idea to avoid it because things can happen, but it doesn't mean they will happen. Good tint shops install window film all the time without removing door panels. I use two reputable shops and have never had any issues related to their work but again something might happen but it's not something I worry about.

I had PPF put on my plugin Prius (the guy came to my house which was cool) and the guy told me he would take out the door glass to tint the windows. I wasn't looking to do tint I was just asking him Qs about it.

I've seen tint install videos on YouTube where they remove the door panel and remove the weatherstrip around where the window goes to better apply the tint.

I have wind noise on my driver side too even thought I know it's loud because I have a f-sport model. I didn't tint my front windows but still hear wind noise.

How do you adjust a fixed glass quarter light window? I think that is BS from your dealer - ask them to show you what they did to adjust.

I think you should go to another dealership and see what they say.

@omara2 Sorry you were having issues with your glass warranty. Hope that you were able to work it out. I took my recently purchased, low mileage, 2022 ES350 in for a complaint of wind noise and the tech found a tech bulletin about bad left quarter panel with the fix being a replacement. It fixed my wind noise problem. My windows are not tinted so no issues that way, but I thought I'd mention it so you can tell them that they'd not done what the technical bulletin called for, which is replacement not adjustment... whatever that means. Good luck!
