I didn't notice this on my rims until it was hit with direct sunlight. What is this flaw on my rim? It feels completely smooth, so it's not cracks or chipping.
It's not all over the rim but mostly on this side.
That to me looks like the wheel was painted without letting each coat dry long enough, the result is the paint shrinks and cracks also known as crazing.
yeah clear coat is bad. not scratched... needs to be repaired. any wheel shop can knock that out 200-250. it'll look like new.
unless your car is under warranty (not sure how old or how much mileage?)

Yes graphite FSport. it's lighter because it was in absolute direct sunlight. Not noticeable otherwise.
My 2015 CT200h F Sport had a smidge of that same spider web clear coat cracks on one of the spokes. Factory wheels too. But it took 5 years for it to develop.
