“The Lexus symbol, according to the company, was chosen to be instantly recognizable for the brand, while highlighting the unique aesthetic of the company. Lexus wanted something both simple and refined, yet capable of depicting the smooth curves common on Lexus vehicles.According to some expert, the shape of the logo also supposedly follows a precise mathematical formula and was designed by Hunter Communications and Molly Designs”

Lexus does pride themselves on jargon and buzzwords, I’m not sure you’ve read too many of their press releases? They are worth a LOL some times.

Personally I'd debadge any model designation lettering so in the end you only have 5 letters.
If you have model letters, your car already looks like a scrabble board
if you have a european spec then you have 5 letters + the 6 for the model for a total of = 11 letters. DOUBLE JEOPARDY!

what I quoted is not a press release. Yes agree, however applies to all press releases not just Lexus. 10% substance and 90% fluff.

It's a trim level with specific styling on the inside and out. As such the F Sport logo is appropriate. I didn't buy it as a sports car but I did buy the F Sport for its appearance.
My last car was the RC F Sport and 4 wheel steering was one of the few handling options, something that greatly enhanced the driving experience. It wasn't somethinig outwardly visible, but when a manufacturer makes different models, I like the delineations badged.
(It was the same when I had a Chrysler 300C, and it was badged on the front fenders and the trunk lid. Easy to distinguish from a regular 300 (6 cyl engine) and a 300S, which was a standard model too.)

disagree about the actual emblem.

Big body FWD luxury car kind of clashes with sport. I'm not saying the F Sport ES is bad but it's just a bit awkward. The kind of awkward that would make me feel subconcious about having a big FWD boat with a sport badge on it.
I want the ES to be a big floaty boat and not be ashamed of it.

Hi folks, was thinking to add new LXS badge on my '22 LC conv, but still not decided. At least prepared preview for your ES's :-)
