Which is interesting because, of course, the dash isn't leather.

What type of leather conditioner did you use on the dash?

Hell, if it's working, that's a good question.

Use 303 Aerospace protectant spray for vinyl. Costs about $8.00 on amazon. I used it on my interior scratches and they disappeared. Scratches started to show again after two months and I simply wiped on a little more.

What about the scratches around the door handle (inside)?

This subject has been discussed ad nauseam... So many products have been suggested and tried and NONE remove the marks...

Yep, and I’m in favor of more discussion. As you point out, there are no products that will permanently remove the marks - an inexcusable design flaw - but maybe someone has used/will find a product which is the most effective of the many tried.

303 is a terrific product regardless, because it acts like sunscreen for vinyl, rubber and fiberglass to slow UV damage.

What would’ve that cost out of pocket if you didn’t have that warranty? Lots of people in here don’t believe that having a warranty is worth it because they believe that nothing on these particular vehicles break.

So what? I’m also in favor of further discussion on this topic too.

I agree with you. What’s all this with people in here not wanting to allow more discussion about this topic. I find this topic very informative.

This thread is about “what went wrong with your car?” I really don’t think this situation applies to the thread as people scratching their interiors isn’t really something going wrong, it is perhaps more of a design failure since it isn’t durable enough. Perhaps this discussion would be more productive if it was moved to one of the threads that address this topic, such as the “scratched dashboard” thread? This way those folks that don’t want to read any more discussion on the topic can just skip over the thread.

21 Hybrid. About 7,000 miles. Changed oil twice so far. Rotated tires once. (Both DIY)

nothing wrong yet as expected.

That's a misquote, glam. No one ever said that. The voluminous thread here was about whether having an EXTENDED warranty AT EXTRA COST was worth is, because they believed the odds were against having enough things on these particular vehicles break to justify the warranty's price.

For the record, I would not accept buying a new car without a warranty, yet I did not agree to pay extra for an extended warranty.

Back on topic, I've had exactly one problem: seat memory that didn't memorize from the factory. A dealer reset fixed it.
