2020 ES 350 transmission fluid change?
Just curious,
Does anyone know if the 7th gen ES 350's 8-speed automatic has a transmission filter?
If so, does anyone know if it is easy / difficult to replace when performing a transmission fluid change?
Any details are appreciated.

Pretty sure there is no filter in the transmission.

For everything you ever wanted to know about ES transmission fluid changing do a search as there are probably over a hundred posts regarding your question.

And bring on the debate to change or not to change. Those with 200K miles and more who never change trans fluid will tell you don't waste your time.

For the record, I am not new here....I have been a member of this forum since my 1st 2001 ES 300 so 18+ years, so I am hardly a newbie in these parts.
Anyway, back to the actual topic that I posted. This was a question about the current 8 speed automatic on the 2019+ ES 350 models....if they had a transmission filter & if so, was it easy to change when changing the fluid.....not should I change it, what fluid to use etc.
And no there are not 'probably over 100+ posts' on the 7th gen ES transmission filters specifically....otherwise I wouldn't have asked the question.
Soooo....after speaking with 3 service & parts managers at different Lexus dealers....the bottom line is, yes, there is a transmission filter for the 8-speed automatic; however it is not serviceable without taking apart the transmission itself.
That is all I wanted to know....that was easy wasn't it?

Wow everyone....sounds like the great old oil debate I have been apart of in the past! I didn't realize it was such a 'touchy' subject for some. .

Since AFAIK the transmission is the same in the 8th gen camry, you can also look up those forums as by volume they have way more members and likely a lot more DIYers who may have run into this. I did that when I had my CT and not enough info, look up Prius forums and suddenly all the info you need.

With only 11,000 miles on her....I will be doing 'drain & fills' for the time being.

Honestly you don't even need to swap out the filter. Drain and fill the transmission fluid every 60,000 miles is more than enough.
