Seat is way too high and uncomfortable

This isn't how Lexus built its customer satisfaction reputation. From the get-go in the 1980s, they took full advantage of the contractual opportunity a new brand provided by demanding higher standards of anyone who wanted to be their dealer. Is there another dealer within a convenient distance of you?

Uncomfortable. What is your previous automobile?

I remember when I got my 2019 ES trying to adjust the seat to my liking. At one point, I adjusted the seat too low and couldn't get it back up again. Eventually, I got it back to where I wanted.
The point I'm making is that there is a lot of flexibility to the adjustments. It's possible that the adjustment you're looking for is there, but you haven't found it yet.

These seats have a lot of adjustments to accommodate most passenger sizes. In your car, the three memory settings may be programmed for a short driver. On rare occasions, the full range of motion may have to be reset. A reset usually can be done by raising the seat all the way up (stand outside of the car), followed by lowering the seat fully.
If reprogramming the three memory buttons or the above ROM reset does not help, your Lexus service rep will put you back in love with your ES350.

The difference from what you wrote is that you must move the seat the full extent of its range AND once it hits the stops keep holding the switch for a second or two - you will feel and hear a clicking noise. Once you do it in all directions (fore, aft, up, down, tilt forward, tilt rear, etc.) it will be back to normal. I even did the high extender just to be sure. It does erase the seat memory so you’ll have to reset that afterwards.

it actually takes a bit more than that, but it’s easy and works well. I had to do it in my new 22 UL a few weeks ago at about 200 miles on the odo. Online you can find videos (applies to Toyotas as it’s the same part.) about it.

I'm six feet and I find the seat to have a glorious level. I actually think it's too LOW. I raised it a couple inches during my drive.
a higher position is also a bit safer for you. Don't sit too low. 1) you can see more and 2) you want your chest and vitals as high as possible 3) also it's not the 1990s anymore. LOL

Well I finally found a Ultra Luxury 2020 es 350 to sit in.The seats went down much further than mine.I guess there must be something wrong with my seat. Now if only I can find a Service Manager who will get off his seat I may be able to drive my new car.My problem has ripped family relations to screeds.buying the wrong car etc etc.I wish Lexus would inform Customers that 2 seats are available in the UL versus the standard

Found a 2020 es 350 UL for sale in my area.Although they look identical from apperance alone the UL seats do go lower. Why in Christs name would you include a 10 way and a 8 way adjustable seat on the same car.I will sell my car and never buy another Lexus.

Used car values are still holding up pretty well so it should minimize the hit you'll take Good luck. What will you be looking at?

Yeah. as big of a BMW fan I am (I've owned 8 including /// M cars) and I've driven the G20-- I still would get the ES every time. To me, I've moved on from the 2 series, 3 series type cars. They're for the younger kids. Too small for me.

I have been shell shocked by the prices of the BMW models. The economy which is currently going into the toilet will correct the attitude of these Dealers. In 6 months to a year even if they have inventory people in the Country will not have any money to buy them.In the meantime Im going to remove my rearview and put a new one that is up and out of the way.Or a Custom seat whatever I have to do.
