Default Rear spoiler - 2021 ES 350 Ultra Luxury

Is there an official rear spoiler for a 2021 ES 350 Ultra Luxury?

Does anyone have a link to the part?

My color is 'Caviar'
Thanks

I don’t know why but it seems to be very hard to find the rear decklid spoiler for an ES model after 2018 on Lexus‘s website. I did find a part number for the spoiler but I had to look at a 2020 ES.

Default Not OEM, but nice on my 2019 Luxury

Very happy with this aftermarket spoiler from Sportwing. It came painted for under $200. Fits great. I used 2 sided 3M tape and clear silicone to mount. Link is below if you are interested.

Exclamation

I was looking at the same thing for my 2020 ES 'Premium'...I thought it would be a nice & subtle mod / upgrade.

However, and I guess it depends on where one lives (I am in Southwestern Ontario) with a good amount of salt in the winter months.

I will put it this way....my 2012 Dodge Charger 'Blacktop' Edition had a 'factory' installed spoiler & another person I know purchased the same model vehicle & installed the spoiler as an accessory (the dealer installed it after the fact). As the years went by, because the trunk lid has to be drilled to install her's....the rust made it obvious the difference between a 'factory' installed spoiler & one the dealer installs (even if it is an OE part).

Not a spec of rust on my vehicle....I am going to pass as I don't want my trunk lid drilled into (I was hoping for a 3M type adhesive since the spoiler is not that 'substantial').

The 'Premium' nor the 'Ultra' do not have a factory installed spoiler....and I believe Lexus did that on purpose & leave it be. Just my 2 cents.

Needs to be properly painted as well, installed etc.

Very nice! I'm not making labored side-by-side comparisons or anything, but to my eyes, that looks indistinguishable from the factory one.

Can you talk a little bit about the installation and how difficult it was? I'm all thumbs when it comes to this kind of thing and I'm worried I would screw it up.

Just double-sided sticky tape and clear silicone? No drilling? What was the silicone used for?

Does it seem like it will stay tight for a long time or need to be redone from time to time?

Thanks.

It wasn't too difficult to mount. I first set it in place and made sure it was exactly where I wanted it. I taped it down with masking tape so it wouldn't move on me. I then drew vertical lines with a fine dry erase type marker on various places on the spoiler, and extended the lines onto the trunk lid. Then I removed the spoiler, and peeled off the two sided tape backing so it was ready to mount. The silicone sealant was added to give a little extra security on it all holding. I squirted it in area that were tight and there was no tape. When I mounted it, I had a second person, and we lined up the vertical marks I made with the ones on the trunk lid. We uniformly pushed it into place at the same time and it seems very secure. Hope this helps.

A second do use of silicone and have used it to install two different spoilers on two different cars at one time or another along with the two-sided tape and never had one left up. I use blue painters tape to mark where I want the spoiler to go instead of the dry erase marker mentioned above.

+1 recommend the spoiler from Sportwing. Bought it after reading this post. The quality and finish is 99% as good as factory. Noticed there was a small little lint that had been painted over at the very edge but no big deal. Spoiler already had double sided tape on the bottom but noticed there were some spots on the side of the tape that was white or discolored(will explain below). I had an old paint touch up pen laying around so I used it to color anything that wasn't black.

Installation was pretty easy. Similar to what everyone said previously, I used painters tape to create a template on where I was planning to place the spoiler. The fit of the spoiler is about 80% exact fit with a bit of wiggle room of it possibly being uncentered. Be mindful of the temperature outside as the tape won't be as affective if it's cold. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the tape/trunk first.

Since the spoiler is attached to my trunk with tape and I didn't use silicone, you do see a very slight gap in between the trunk and spoiler due to the tape. If you don't color in the tape like I mentioned before, it'd show here. I feel confident that the spoiler isn't going anywhere with the tape but also noticed that my power trunk stopped working possibly due to the weight. heh

My dealer put it on my new 2021 ES350 for me pre-delivery. He had no problem getting it and it was very affordable. Very pleased with it. No problem with the power trunk or appearance.
