Hybrid 300h vs V6 ES350? (Merged threads)

It's not placebo. It absolutely affects steering. That's the telltale classic trademark of all Lexus cars with a drive-mode selector. My CT did it, my IS did it, and now my ES did it (stiffens steering in sport mode) It's extremely obvious (and annoying!)

I must be asleep at the wheel () or it's just I just never drive in anything but SPORT. I'm using NORMAL on my way home today to see how obvious this truly is.

It's probably most noticeable at lower speeds... try 15-30 mph or so and just turn the wheel back and forth as you toggle the modes. pay attention to the force needed. of course i haven't driven the F sport but i'm fairly certain it would work the same way.

The A6 is such a nice car. Looks good (though kinda plain now), feels luxurious, great driving dynamics, but all that comes at a premium, with the listed price above. My ES300h offers the same, luxuries at $15-20k less AND is reliable as clockwork. A German make car outside of a warranty, no thanks.
I considered an S4 and an S5 before deciding on the ES. End of the day, it just didn't make sense to go the performance sedan route. Perhaps in the future.

I have an Audi Q5 v6 2016 and have had tons of issues with it. I wouldn't get another Audi again in my life. Although the new ones look good, they are extremely unreliable. I am going for the es 350, however I'm waiting for the dealer to officially sell it

2018 ES 350 to 2022 ES 300h
Seriously considering trading my 2018 350 (35,000 miles on it) in and getting a 300h.
Aside from the reduced horse power and transmission what other considerations should I be thinking about?
Positives are gas mileage, maintenance, and new body style.
I currently have a pano roof and I know that is not available.
Thanks!
