Talking 2022 Lexus ES 300h F Sport

Hey everyone,
My folks recently picked up a new Lexus ES 300h F Sport, I am very impressed with the rear seat room and the touchscreen has improved the use of the infotainment. (especially compared to the family 2014 IS.)

Youtube shilling aside...I actually am not impressed w/ the rear seat space. Granted myself and the s/o do like the front seats pretty far back however I find myself moving the passenger seat forward when my 6 year old is in there to give her space.

Not sure where you will find a sedan with more rear seat legroom.

Mike is right.. not many cars with more seat room. The ES is actually almost "clown like" in its rear seat room, destroying even the 7 Series from 1-2 gens ago. Like ridiculous.

I think in this class only one kia and one hyundai have a tad more room. I forgot the names, but they're the big midsized ones.

If you're splitting hairs I think the Avalon has a tad more.

The 2022 S-Class, the giant of the world, only has +3.4" of total legroom. Not insignificant, but a totally different class. about the length of your finger?

What the germans (5 Series, A6) do a bit better is rear hip and shoulder room. but that's largely cause those cars are dedicated platforms which had more design freedom vs. a platform designed for the smaller Camry.

edit: this is post 7,000 for me!

Maybe the Cadenza and Azera? I had an Azera and not sure the rear was larger than the ES but it was probably close. Unless you're thinking of the defunct K900?

Although I’m satisfied with the rear seat legroom in my F Sport, the current Accord has more. It’s almost shocking how much leg room it has. But I wouldn’t say it’s way more than the ES.

Same here. I wasn't "complaining" I was just stating that all the reviewers give the impression that it was "huge" when I only found it adequate for my real world use with little kids. I love almost everything about my 2022 ES and it totally works for me. Plus, I'm not the one that has to sit in the back. I really only noticed how tight it was because all the damn dirty shoe prints all over the back of my seats made me pay attention. No worries fellas.

Accord is 1.1" more.

82.7 vs 81.6

The only car that would have meaningfully more legroom is a Long Wheelbase S-Class or 7-Series, or an Escalade ESV. There's not really any cars that would prevent dirty shoe prints. The ES is objectively massive legroom wise.

I must agree. "IF" he did get this brand new car, he'd be stalking the forum from people like me congratulating him, and replying back. I retract my congrats.
