You might want to look behind the existing switches before you plan on anything. For many years I re-positioned the switches in that area to my liking but when I started the process on my 2021 (on day one) I observed that instead of four separate switches and plugs there was a single 4-position connector of sorts. Not only could I not reposition the switches but I don't believe a switch of another kind could even be added. I quickly buttoned it all up and moved on with my life - reluctantly. I recall that repositioning the switches in recent years was complicated by each switch being keyed to its respective slot which required a little trimming with an exacto knife,

I plan on using the switch for my ambient lights, to cycle through the color choices.

Could you buy one of those switches and just use the front cover and change out the switch in the back to what you want? This is just a suggestion but I've never seen the back of one of those switches before and it might be harder to do than I know.

You could always rub off the markings on the face of it and apply whatever you wanted on it or just leave the face blank. It's up to you.
