Hello all,

Tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything. Anyone know if it's possible to install some puddle lights on the 2021 Lexus ES 350 F Sport Blackline? Tried looking for some on Amazon and I found this:


This is the first time making any modifications to my Lexus. Is this a relatively easy procedure as the product page suggests, or are there big risks if something goes wrong? (i.e. this is more trouble than it's worth to mess with and I should avoid doing this)

Any additional recommendations/links/advice greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger.

It already has the puddle lights that illuminate from the door handles. Or are you thinking of a different type?

Referring to the lights on the bottom of the door that show a Lexus logo or even the F sport badge if that is available somewhere

I haven't looked at mine yet, but have done upgraded LED modification to many car puddle lights. It's as easy as just popping out the housing and replacing it with this new housing.

Can confirm, the puddle lights I purchased from the Amazon link I posted do indeed work and look quite nice. Installation was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes.





Anybody see any "F-Sport" puddle lights on eBay/Amazon worth taking a shot at that might be compatible with the ES and you've had success with? Still looking for a set just to have on hand should I feel like changing these out later.

Do they make fun ones like with a dog face on them? that would be cool.

Any issues with these getting hot? I got a set on ebay that did not fit so I ordered off Amazon. . They come with a little adapter wire but the base of the LED is getting hot. I know this is normal to a degree but the should be something to dissipate the heat. Plus they are not very bright..

If you're looking for alternative solutions, see my Interior Lighting question post #18 for links to an official "LEXUS" projecting US Lexus OEM NX/RX/RZ/TX SIDE PUDDLE LAMP PT94478220 and Eppieguy's discussion on it also working with this generation of Lexus ES.

For non-Lexus projector courtesy lamps in a variety of projection logos, see gcvt's ***What did you do to your ES today?*** post #765 with links to V1 and V2 in my post #766 reply. Lexusacc also sells an "improved" redesigned version 3, Lexus Compatible LED Door Lamp Set V3, so you should look over the three versions to see what the available projection images and parts construction suits your fancy.
