Default Need Input For 22 ES350 Ultra Luxury

Hi Guys,
My name is AJ.
I get weekly press cars for review. (The Car Review Guys)
I do my best to consider owners opinions for my videos within reason.
I have a 22 ES350 Ultra Luxury this week.
My next videos are:
5 things to improve
5 things to Love
Would love to get some input from you all on these topics.

Review is live: https://youtu.be/35yFKw9_jY0

I have the 22 ES300h so a bit different than your subject.

Love the heads up display.
Love the new computer screen - very clear and very useful.
Love the hybrid power supply diagram on the computer display i.e. engine, battery etc.
Love the Brake Hold - use it all of the time
Love fully automatic the heater / A/C - located in Canada so automatic heating steering wheel and seats arer great.

Don't like the programming on the Brake Hold - it should stay on until I release it.
Don't like the coffee holders - very limited and I fight with the passenger all the time as to who gets which one.
Don't like the low clearance of the vehicle - great in the city but I live in rural so the gravel is really hard on the undercarriage.
Don't like the challanges of lift the vehicle - floor jack barely reaches the rear lift point.
Don't like messages from the car all the time - when its in the garage I get the doors are unlocked or windows are open. The garage is locked.

Have a '22 ES Ultra Luxury.

Love:

The utter smoothness and super-absorbent ride.
The room and comfort.
The terrific build quality and expected reliability.
The excellence of the Levinson stereo and the triple beam headlights.
The decent MPG with regular gas in a big, powerful car.

Don't like:

The lousy accelerative traction and understeer of FWD. They should have offered AWD with the V6.
Lack of seat padding; the seats are well shaped and adjustable, but needlessly stiff.
Stupid black paint that makes the real wood trim look like it might as well have been cheap plastic.
Some cheapouts of trim in the interior and trunk.
The stupid touchpad and useless phone charger taking up valuable console space.

I have a '22 ES Ultra Luxury

Love:
  • Panoramic view monitor
  • Mark Levinson sound system (sounds exceptional, especially with high-quality audio sources)
  • Head-up Display
  • Quick acceleration and responsiveness. Composed ride
  • Visually appealing aesthetic (may be a bit polarizing)
Honorable mentions:

Triple Beam headlights (adds an aggressive look)
Power open/close trunk with kick sensor

Needs improvement:
  • Rear seats don't fold down
  • All-wheel drive isn't available for the 350
  • Seat comfort and position (could use more padding/cushion) Sits very low to the ground
  • Wireless charger (will not charge iPhone with nearly any case. The location is awkward and takes up too much space) The location was moved for the 2023 model so time will tell.
  • Trackpad can be cumbersome and fickle (The trackpad has been discontinued in the 2023 model)
Honorable Mentions:

Get rid of the Franken-*****
Improve wind noise at highway speeds
Could use more storage space for the driver and front passenger

What I noticed off the rip is how nice it rides. Smooth and quite! Only con I could find is the back up camera quality is not good. It's identical to the camry. Appreciate your input!

appreciate your input! I 100% agree AWD should be available. Ill put that on my improvement video for sure! I also noticed the back up camera is the same as the camry. Not crisp and clear like I would expect. The highway speed noise surprises me though. This car has 4k miles and I can't hear hardly anything from the road. It's smooth and quite. Thanks again for the input. Hopefully my video can get some traction and we get AWD in a future model!

i'm not sure what the policy is on commercial posts but you should check with the admin first seeing as you have a new account. the board is geared towards actual owners

Are you kidding? We all like sharing our opinions about our cars. I can’t imagine this being a problem.

I don't own one but when I test drove a 2022 ES350 UL, the main things I didn't like were wired ACP and clunky track pad. Luckily both are being solved in the 2023 MY.

he's using the forum solely for promotion & marketing. it's not genuine.

it's a copy paste from other forums. i found just with 10 seconds of googling 4-5 other instances on car forums where he copied pasted the above post. just replace "ES" with (insert brand/ model here)

he does 1-2 posts on other forums then leaves forever.

i'm not the type that falls for this kind of stuff...

How could I have been so easily duped into giving an opinion about my car. I've learned my lesson!

Really? Seems like you haven't watched my videos or seen that I reply to everyone. I dont own this car and only have 7 days with. Real owners know better then me. I use that to help voice opinions in my videos. Keep in mind its a press car. I have limitstions with what im allowed to say. My Dad spent 30 years in the Army. Think of it like this. An enlisted guy knows how things work as an E5. A brand new officer out ranks the E5. Who knows more tho? The E5. So you lean on your E5 and listen to their input. Same for me. I listen to owners input.
have a good one 👍

May be other people or channels that do that. Not me. I gave the guy my response.

yeah and if he even took time to watch my other videos I really use owners inputs to help voice opinions. Obviously with me not owning the car I have certain limitations on what I can say.
