Are the 17s noise cancelling or am i missing something? i'm not saying the 17s aren't quieter than actual 18" noise cancelling UL wheels (and i'm not saying they are either-i don't know) but just curious what the noise cancelling is referring to?
I mean the active noise cancellation feature that comes with the Luxury and up spec, works the same as ANC headphones, a microphone in the engine bay captures noise then the opposite is sent through the speakers to cancel the noise. Not sure how useful it is, but all I know is my ES is so darn quiet, the only things I hear is if I rev the engine or slight wind noise (like a gentle whoosh) at high speeds, no tire or road noise that stands out to me unless the road is atrocious.

active NC comes with all 7ES not just lux and above. Ask anyone who’s installed a subwoofer, there will be audio feedback unless it’s disabled.
the noise reducing wheels however have a hollow chamber designed to dampen certain resonance. I’ve seen a video demonstration and it works. Mostly for impact, notvtire whine. Only one wheel for the ES is NR, the lux wheels with (I think) 20 spokes.

So the ANC as said by the other poster is not specific or exclusive to any hybrid trim. It comes on all. Further the active noise cancelling doesn't work like you think it does (a lot of us made the same mistake) I researched the technical documents on ANC and it's only for the engine roar on the hybrid at low rpms, at certain speeds & loads. And on top of that it's very subtle. On top of that, I tested it on and off by toggling it using Carista and could not distinguish any difference whatsoever.
As said when you have the subwoofer installed, you can hear the feedback of the system pumping noise into the cabin, only for a short time during certain load and RPM scenarios. Then it shuts off. So it's very limited in scope and use. The primary sound abatement measures on the ES are just your traditional sound deadening and other measures. The ANC is really to mitigate the inherently loud roar of the A25FXS, and even then only subtly at best.
I did not research the ES350 to see what ANC does on it or if it even comes on it.
Can anyone save me from looking in my owners manual and tell me what this button does?
Edit: Never mind, manual says it's an intrusion sensor cancel switch, whatever that is!
Must be a 2023 thing. Probably a sonar or other sensor which trips the alarm when sensing interior movement. say you want to lock the car with a pet inside or you want to chill inside yourself without setting off the alarm.
though i don't know 100% how this Lexus button works or what its for but that's my guess. ive never seen that since late 2018-2019 since ive been on these boards.

It's a feature not available in North America, but I think even standard in EU and other countries.
Oh is that person from somewhere other than NA? i thought about it for a second but they seemed to type as if they were from the US/Canada. I shouldn't assume. what is "ACT"
Nice and congrats. At first I thought your chrome trim upper by the b pillar is a different color on the back door, like maybe you vinyl wrapped it, but i think it's just the light reflecting differently on the back vs. the front.
Either do a DIY wax/coating/sealant or DIY ceramic. don't pay anyone to do any detailing on the car, especially ceramic. especially on a new car when it's the easiest thing to do in the world yourself.
but if you insist, go with the fullest ceramic coating.
personally 20+ years enthusiast (and some pro) detailing, honestly, to me, ceramics=meh. i wouldn't say NO to doing a ceramic, but to me it's not a "heck yeah."
I'd rather use a spray wax/sio2 or spray ceramic. something semi permanent that gets maintained regularly. wax has a higher gloss anyway.
Didn't do too much on th 2022 ES 300h UL. Had Dealer install invisible bra on hood as well as on exterior mirrors
Replaced Chrome Wheels with Black Enamel Wheels. Tinted Windows 35% all over

Nice ride!
I use this duster once a week on the interior: dash, console, seat, door even windshields and glasses and no dust and gunk built-up any more.
Wipe everything down once a month if you are the only one drive it, and do leather and dash care etc. car will be brand new for forever.
