Default My 6 month ownership update

Long story short but the car is flawless and I love it. The longer version:

Nice. When will you have the ambient lighting video ready?

Thanks for the personal video on your 2022 UL Hybrid ES. I too had a 2018 LS Lexus for 4 years after owning three generations of GS and the first LS when Lexus was born. I too changed models for your same reason. Like you, I hope for awd for future ES 300 models.

Question: my 2018 LS had acoustic glass front and back. The ES has lami safe glass. Still good on sound. What type of glass that your hybrid model have. The stamp would be on front side glass towards bottom, right.

Happy to see that all good with your new car. My 2019 will be 4 years old in December. I can honestly say that there are no rattles, creaks, cracks, or anything else that drives you nuts with a new car. The engine is so quiet that I turn off the radio to hear if it's running. I put ceramic wax on it and it's so shiny you need sunglasses to look at the Atomic Silver paint. I had it up to 100 mph on the Pennsylvania turnpike the other day on a trip to Milford, Delaware... Sweet

These cars are really superior IMO...

Same for me - four years old, about 55k on the clock and all is well. Since there is zero chance I will ever pay over sticker or even sticker, I may be driving this one awhile longer😁

My 2022 ES350 UL is exactly 5 months old with only 242 original miles on it (yes seriously only 242 miles on the odometer). No problems yet.

Start driving it - it's not an LFA!

You probably need to drive it more. It keeps the tires from flat spotting, get the oil and other fluids heated up and keeps the battery charged.

I bought my Miata, new, 27 years ago and have driven it only 4 summer months of each year, less than an average of 1700 miles/year (46,000 mi. total). Nothing has ever failed in the car BUT seals, hoses, etc. are starting to rot from non-use and have to be replaced. Tires and batteries had to be replaced during the years, due to their age, even though they have been used for only 5,000 mi. Just keep all that in mind.
Drive your beautifiul new car it and enjoy it as much as you want. It's a Lexus---it will go forever, even if you and I won't!
