Can’t figure out how to turn on middle dome light in back seat even when back door(s) are opened. Help or tell me where the answer is in the manual, please. Thank you.

 

I think the middle dome only comes on when the front dome is on.

 

The operational details for the interior lights are found on page 275 of the LEXUS 2021 ES250/ES350 OWNER'S MANUAL (OM06207U) [pdf version and page number varies by model year version]. Note that there are two switches involved with interior lightning control - one for controlling whether or not the interior lights turn on with door opening and the other just turns them on or off regardless of any door's open/closed position. On that page the manual has switch location diagrams along with textual explanatory details.

 

Please check the DOOR button on the front console.It should be pressed, flat with the plastic.

 

Right. Did it. Thank you. My mistake was that when I pressed it in, I thought the lights went on and then STAYED on. I didn't realize it was to have the lights go on when doors opened and then automatically go off. Thanks again.
