My two cars and I prefer the blue one

The dreaded four cylinder engine is now becoming an industry standard, even in brands that formerly eschewed such a plebeian choice in a higher end vehicle. I don't care what the numbers may show for the all-so-important 0-60 times, a four banger is still a four banger, no matter how many turbos they hang on it.
While I like hybrids, I think they and CVTs are the bigger issue going forward. The 2023 Accord is dropping the 2.0T and the Toyota crown is only hybrid (although the hybrid max version is somewhat redeemed with a more traditional auto 6 speed transmission and a lot of hp/torque, but it can’t always use it in the right way). Will the Lexus replace the V6 with the hybrid max power train on the ES?

Next gen is probably coming for the 2025/2026 year, but I'll bet money it'll have the exact same powertrain options as the new RX, which I believe has a powertrain that isn't a turbo (350H). So at least there's that option to avoid the turbos.

I bought my first Lexus 2019 es350 luxury package and it is the best car I have ever owned. I went to the dealer to test drive a C300 MBZ and it WAS a 4 cylinder. Lousy drive, I stumbled onto the es350 and I have never looked back.

Wait, are those auto folding side view mirrors?? Jealous. My wife's 2019 RX350 has them but not my ES
