Default Presentation Of MPG Number

On the extreme left of my dash, I have "Range" (miles 'til empty) number and, below it, average MPH. I couldn't care less about my average speed. I see I can remove that statistic but is there anyway to get MPG number there instead, either the constantly changing MPG or the average since re-setting. Yes, I know I can access those statistics by going to "Info" with my mouse but I'd like it to be on the left where average MPH is.
I'm pretty sure the answer is simply "No," but there's no harm in asking!

You can customize the information displayed on the Multi Information Display (MID) Drive Info 1 and Drive Info 2 screens. (The customization of those screens is found under the Settings [the gear icon]->Meter Settings->Drive Info 1 or Drive Info 2 chain of menu item selections.) Although it isn't an exhaustive explanation of all possible customizations of those screens, one of Northside Lexus's Melissa O'Connell's ES Deep Dive Tutorial videos show customizing Drive Info 1/2 displayed items. I think the 2022 is the better demo starting at the 41:25 time mark:

Excellent. I’ll turn to it in the morning. Thanks so much for your very knowledgeable reply. I guess I’m not surprised this can be done. I just had no idea how to do it!

I have mine set to display MPG for tank lifetime & drive session.

I hide my drive session cause it's depressing to go to the store and see 28mpg.

In my 2016 IS200t, I would get 11-14 mpg on short trips. LOL

Mine is never under 20 but I don't do much local driving. Closer to 30 for the most part which is primarily my daily commute.

Same with me. 13-14mpg city. Eco mode slightly worse than normal or sport.

I’m thrilled so long as I’m always in the 20 mpg or more range. Didn’t buy this luxury car to save a few bucks on fuel.

Worse in Eco mode!? Oh my, I never checked it—-just assumed Lexus was telling the truth. Eco is my normal setting. If it’s no difference, ai’ll go back to normal. Not a sport setting guy anymore…

Why would anyone use ECO? I mean I wouldn't use it even if mpg was 20% better.

20% better is about what I actually expected it to be. Surprised to hear others say it’s actually less economical! I’d use it because gentle and conservative is my style of driving anymore, anyway.

The Drive Mode ECO setting controls a couple of functions that the driver cannot.

We can drive with a light and conservative throttle application but we can't control
the way the Cruise Control uses the throttle. Drive Mode ECO can. When using the
cruise on hilly terrain in Drive Mode Normal or Sport the system will down shift and
punch up the throttle to maintain your set speed as closely as possible. When in the
ECO mode it will "breathe" the throttle and your speed will diminish until you are back
on level roads.

The other major benefit of the Drive Mode ECO is its effect on the A/C. While you can
safe energy and money with your home HVAC by turning the thermometer up to a higher
temp in the summer, automobile HVAC doesn't work that way. Our cars blend warm air
with the chilled air to provide the temp you dialed in. The A/C compressor is still running
at any temp above ambient. The Drive Mode ECO actually ramps down the compressor
and the fans to save energy and money. Not the best setting on short shopping trips with
lots of hot packages and steaming coffee cups jumping in and out.

All of this to say the most effective use of ECO is when cruising with the A/C on. When used
while commuting and trying to maintain vehicle spacing in heavy traffic you are going to just
press the throttle harder against a less responsive pedal and use as much (or more) fuel than ever!
