Default Christmas tree on top of the ES?

Let's hear it - is this okay to do or not? I'd be laying down a thick movers blanket on top of the car, but I think my only concern would be that sheet metal being dented/creased. The other option is our 2019 RX350, no roof rack.

Buy an artificial tree in a box and throw it in the trunk... Problem solved...

Definitely do NOT do it.... Could you get away with it? maybe.... But if this is your plan, I'd just rent a uhaul van for like 30 bucks for the day. And use that thing to get my tree home....

If you have to ask "should i do it" the answer is probably no. if you care about your car, then don't. as others have said, rent a truck/van. you're just risking denting your roof/interior or rubbing the paint wrong at edges, etc.

If you care about your paint finish, don't do it. If you are leasing and really don't care, go for it. I see several Mercedes and BMW's around me running around with Christmas trees on their roofs this time of year. Most are placing the trees on the roof with no protection at all.
