Default Rear driver door lock not working

So I took the car in for service and the dealer replaced the rear quarter window seal because of wind noise. Now that door lock doesn’t work with fob or by pressing the button. Any idea what might have happened or what they might have left unplugged?

I bet they forgot to plug it back. Check the connection on the B pillar.

so you are thinking that they took off more than just the door panel to replace the window seal? I assume you’re talking about something underneath the B pillar cover?

So I got home from our family Christmas party and pulled the door panel on the back door and sure enough they did not plug-in the door lock plug. I reconnected it and everything works great!

What was involved in removing this panel?

I searched YouTube for door panel removal and followed the directions. You have to remove three screws and then pull the panel off so the clips disengage. Then just reverse the process to put the panel back on.

I took my car to get tint on it two weeks ago and it's a top shop.. (which is why i went there) so i got the car back and when i got home i noticed a piece in the back seat. it was the window sweep the tinter forgot to reinstall. so i just removed the rear door panel and reinstalled it in 5 min.

also i'm pretty sure i was the first to post DIY on how to remove 7ES door panels. could've went to my thread!
