Default FS: 97-01 OEM HID Headlights

I had some stuff from my 98 ES300 listed in another thread but I'm trying a new approach to get them sold and taking the advice of another member, so I've decided to list the items individually:

97-01 OEM ES300 Xenon headlights. Absolutely perfect condition! Never installed on my car! Includes Silverstar highs, but sorry, no ballasts or bulbs (housings & auto-leveling motors only). I'll post pics if you are really interested. Asking $500 shipped. Go to your local Lexus parts dept. and ask them how much they'd charge you for a new set... you'll crap your pants. I'll accept most [normal] forms of payment, but you pay any associated fees (i.e. PayPal charges 2.9%). Thanks!

I really don't want to be stuck with trying to sell a single headlight, but if worse comes to worst, I'll let you know.

Hey i wanted to know if you still had both of the headlights and how much would they cost becuse on another thread you said that you would be willing to part with them for $400. Also just to clarify, all i would have to do to put them in my non-HID equiped ES300 would be to buy some bulbs and ballasts right?

Yep, still got 'em! I really want to try and get something close to $500 due to the fact that it is still a great deal and I really have no problem with them remaining as gorgeous desk sculpture. Oh, and you are correct, all you need in addition to the headlights are a pair of bulbs and ballasts. Thanks!

If i was to get the headlights could you recomend a HID kit to put in the car? Also i can't seem to find a reputable dealer, could you give me any suggestions on where to buy? Also would the OEM HID system work best in the headlights, or would an aftermarket HID system work just as well?

The OEM system (oem bulbs and d2r bulbs) work alot better in those housings. Aftermarket kits have a rebased bulb that will not fit in the bulb holder, not to mention the light output is below par compared to the OEM bulbs. If you get these headlights, do it right and get OEM ballasts and d2r bulbs. You won't be disappointed.

Yea, I have a pair for them, although I'm pretty sure that they are the same as the ones on the non-HIDs.
