Upgrade And Modernize Your Security LED
For All ES300 Owners:
A BRIGHT BLUE flashing Security Light on your dash to replace the dim OEM red one
IN-DASH PIC:
Removal of the module is easy, just two Phillips-head screws.
Send me your module (this won't affect the functioning of your security system) and I'll upgrade it and return to you. I estimate the new LED to be at least 2 to 3 times brighter (and 100% cooler looking) than the original, once the high-output Clear Blue LED and necessary resistor modifications are made.
** Particularly those of you with tints know how hard it is to see the OEM red security LED through the windows. **
A flashing security light is proven to be a deterrent to break-ins and car thefts, but it won't work if the would-be thief doesn't even notice it!
