Finally! IS Rims on 3ES (Lots of pics!)
So, after a month of researching and getting together all the parts, I finally have my IS300 rims mounted on my 1999 ES300! Here is what I used:
IS300 rims
OEM IS300 lugs
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 215/50/17
2x15MM Ichiba spacer V2 (front)
2x20MM Ichiba spacer V2 (rear)
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...
Wheels
Spacer on front (15MM)
Mounted (I hate my wheel gap )
Sorta flush with the fender, don't you LOVE that wheel gap?
Rear is pretty flush

Thanks! Now I just need to get rid of the wheel gap haha.
I love that flush look, it'll look great!
They cost about $800 for the rims, spacers, and the tires together.

Hey, the IS300 rims look sweet on your 3ES! But beware of the spacers. Here's a post from another forum where some1 put 15MM Ichiba V2 spacers on his Maxima:

Ok So I've had them on for about a month now. They are the Ichiba v2 15mm Wheel Spacers. I have them on the Rear Wheels. For the past week the car has been driving like if the wheels needed balancing, so 2 nites ago the car was driving horrible. It got really bad, so i pull over and realize that the spacer is off a couple of mm off the hub, so I drive it to the next exit and as i'm getting off the exit i realize that the wheel is bobbling left and right as if its going to fall off. It was very scary to see this. I pull over and decide to lift the car up and remove the wheel, only to find out that 3 of the bolts that hold the spacer to the studs are loose and the other 2 have broken off with the studs. Total nightmare. I didn't want to take a chance and drive home on 3 studs so i called a tow truck and got it towed. So today I decide to take off the other wheel to remove the spacer and come to find out that 2 of the nuts holding on to the studs are comletely loose. None of those studs broke. Maybe I did something wrong when I installed them but I'm pretty sure I didn't. So if i recommended these to you before, i'm sorry, I take that Back. For those that have these installed, I would recommend you keep a close eye and make sure this doesn't happen to you.

Why did you put wheel spacers on the front? I have the same rims and only had to put spacers on the rear to clear the strut. I added a pic of mine. Your front ones would be even more flush without the spacer. I have ridiculous gaps in this pic but I have since changed the tires to some 215/45or55/17 (I don't remember which one) and it looks way better now even without a drop. A drop is in the future though!

I front is actually almost perfectly flush, the pic is from a slight angle and the wheel wasn't turned perfectly straight. I probably could have gotten away with a 10MM spacer in the front, but it looks better with a 15MM.
Love that color btw.

looks good, glad you posted this!
It confirms [for me] that these rims are a waste of time and money for the hassle to get them mounted up, IMO.
I had an opportunity for countless sets below 200$ but the idea of having to swap spacers on/off every 6-7 months blows
Enjoy the new look, as it does look good!

Thanks! I love the new look.
The only real difference between getting these mounted and any other rims is the spacers, although it is costly. It's not too much of a hassle to get the spacers on/off, just an extra thing to bolt on or take off.
