Is the engine bay long enough to fit a 2JZ?

See how crammed the ES engine bay is in the first place?? what about the tranny?? the v6 1mz barely fits snugly. I know ANYTHING is possible w/ the right budget, but a 2jz would be way over my pockets. a very nice idea to tinker with, though

Good luck trying to fit an inline 6 into a FWD platform. Not saying it can't be done, but you'd better have some very very very deep pockets.

a true sleeper. Well you are going to have some problems.
Because it is rwd you will probably have to cut the firewall move lots of things around, may even cost you air conditioning depending how tight of a fit it would be.

Maybe consider getting a supra or another fast car.

It would be easier and cheaper to sell your car and find an older GS300, if you want a sedan with the 2JZ to tune.
