Nuluxe vs Leather on 2013 ES300h
Any pro's / cons on each one apart from the price. I have a 04 GX with leather and it has held up pretty well over the years. I do regular cleaning and maintenance on them.
I dont know how resilient Nuluxe will be. Any existing owners can comment on the softness and the quality after some use. It looks nice and clean at the dealership but need some real world use experience.

How do you like your leather option.

I think it's the first time for Nuluxe as a standard item on the ES models. Lexus offer different leather seat material on Luxury & UL models. As for the seats in my UL, I like them...they're a bit softer than Nuluxe. But I probably would have been just as happy with the Nuluxe.

If you take care of the leather, it'll hold up fine.
However, IMHO its a pretty low grade leather, a downgrade from my 2010 which was a downgrade from my 2003. I honestly think the NuLuxe feels and looks nicer, if only you could get it with the cooled seats.

Many BMW and MB models come standard with leatherette. We were recently shopping those brands and initally i didn't like the idea, but after looking closer, they aren't bad at all and both us would have been fine with it.

I'd follow the owner's manual on cleaning the interior, or anything gentle meant for vinyl (non-petroleum based cleaner). Also remember you'll be seating on the seats with whatever you apply, so be careful of what you put on it, least you want a shiny bottom.
