Rubberized trunk mat
#16
After a very annoying "live chat" session on JCWhitney they confirmed the weathertech product does not fit the ES300h. I don't even know if I was really talking to a real person or if they will really fix the issue on their website. Every response was pretty much a canned reply. I didn't have the energy or will to ask about the other 3 items.

mrBillFL: I sent you a private mail.
atoyota: You are correct. If the pictures are correct the mat must be almost straight on the right side. The battery sits in that corner of the trunk on the 300h and the Camry Hybrid. It has to be for the Camry Hybrid and 2012 or newer model year because the 2012 was a redesign year. The correct picture is the one on the ebay link of the mat alone in a plastic bag. I do have the Camry one in my 300h trunk and am totally happy with the fit since Lexus does not make one. Go to a local Toyota dealer and try one or have them order one and if you do not like the fit do not purchase it. When all is said and done, it is a trunk mat after all.

Interestingly enough, this isn't shown on the weathertech website but it is showing on jcwhitney

anyone know who makes this? if it keeps water in I'll buy one... its worth it to keep saltwater smells out of my carpet..... (diving/sailing season is here!)
ps: I emailed weather tech and husky about a 2012 camry hybrid... no luck there.

mrBillFL:
Just got in and read your posts and PM and replied. The one you ordered (the one you pictured above in your 5:36 PM post) is the right one and it has a 14 day return but I really do not believe you will be sending it back.

rubber trunk mat
=======================================================================
mrBillFL:
Sent you a PM and:
Here are some picts from mine. It was a challenge but i think I got them. The tab on the paper in the third photo is 1", as you can see the total depth is about 2". The pictures are LF,RF, Back (seat), LR, RR (of the mat looking rear of car towards front). In LF the 2 offsets do not touch but the point does. I did not measure but I would guess the widest gap is about 1.5" at most. I have the cargo net and tucked the mat under the D-Rings, remove the net and the fit in the rear of car is like that in the front of the mat (back seat).

it fits!
a few minor gaps or differences between the camry h, and ex h models, but it accomplishes what I wanted.
because of the way it was stored in a box and shipped, its got some marks on the mat.
(the marks felt slick like armorall)
I hope they go away with time, or some armor all.
the camry logo didn't come off w/ lacquer thinner. I may try sanding later...
This is at least as heavy material as my husky liner in the suv.
I would recommend it!
