Tesla told me that don't need anyone to be there when they deliver the Y, so delivery is scheduled for this coming Tuesday
The next delivery date is a few weeks away, and since the car is already financed and paid for, I might as well get it now. Any remaining agreements will be electronically signed through the app before official acceptance of the car and it is unlocked
I would never pay or accept delivery for a Model S before seeing it. Too many issues with the quality of them that I wouldn’t want to be stuck with a subpar quality Tesla in hopes of getting it fixed timely by Tesla. Model Y may be a different story but I still see people rejecting Model S’

I've seen enough recent Model 3 and Y's to be confident. My brother in laws Model 3 the only issue he's had so far is the back seat belts needed to be changed. They went ahead and changed the back seats as well as the belts pretty quickly. I'm close enough to the Fremont service center that they would send out a tech to me for most minor issues
so you're going to accept it without even looking at it?
My son is going to look at it, he is flying back tomorrow night, as he has classes on Monday. Before I hit the "Accept" button, he's going to check it for anything major...he knows what to look for. We will be on a video call while he inspects the car

Send him that quick check list you posted these other day.
Sorry to hear about you loss. Hope your delivery is smooth like ...the EV engine!

Wow I guess people just get them regardless. How an automobile company can sell like this with build quality is beyond me.
My son and I did a WhatsApp video call, everything looks good and I accepted delivery. I'll take pictures of it and post more on Thursday, as I am still out of town
