The main hwy between SF and SoCal is Interstate 5, the speed limit is 70 MPH because there is mostly open and farmland for hundreds of miles. California highway patrol doesn't bother with people doing 80 mph, as they concentrate on people who do 90 to over 100 mph, which is very common, as it's an almost complete straight highway

Can you view any of the camera feeds at any time or only when the car is stopped?

I can view the camera feeds anytime . Both exterior and cabin camera. If my wife knew about this feature, she would be on her phone right now watching...

That's awesome.

I won't lie if it was me I'd be very tempted to set a speed limit.

No way to sneak out without getting caught! Lol

LOL I was waiting for you to weigh in. You can actually put the car in "Privacy Mode" where you can't track it from the app. It turns off 4G. So if I ever get a mistress, you know the mode I'm heading for

Yeah nobody wants to go thru all that.

Plus it's not really DIY in my opinion.

When I installed a new back up camera I had to almost completely remove the interior to run the wires properly.

Of course can always go ghetto and hide the wires under the floor mats. Lol

Are these features on subscription? If so, how long do they give you for free? I think BMW gives you 3 or 4 not sure and MB gives you one year. I remember Lexus gave me a year free too. I personally wouldn't count on going 80 past a highway patrol. Consider yourself lucky if you haven't got caught. I only go 5 or less.

No, these are all free features. The only thing that is extra is "Premium Connectivity", which is $99 a year. It allows you to use the cars built in 4G network for streaming Youtube, Netflix, etc. The way around that is either use your phone as a hotspot or connect to Wifi. I went ahead subscribed so we can just use the cars built in 4G
