Arrived...2023 Model Y in Black

The main hwy between SF and SoCal is Interstate 5, the speed limit is 70 MPH because there is mostly open and farmland for hundreds of miles. California highway patrol doesn't bother with people doing 80 mph, as they concentrate on people who do 90 to over 100 mph, which is very common, as it's an almost complete straight highway

Can you view any of the camera feeds at any time or only when the car is stopped?

Oh man, I would have to go dark and get rid of cell phones and evs if I was young again.
No way to sneak out without getting caught! Lol

LOL I was waiting for you to weigh in. You can actually put the car in "Privacy Mode" where you can't track it from the app. It turns off 4G. So if I ever get a mistress, you know the mode I'm heading for

Yeah nobody wants to go thru all that.
Plus it's not really DIY in my opinion.
When I installed a new back up camera I had to almost completely remove the interior to run the wires properly.
Of course can always go ghetto and hide the wires under the floor mats. Lol

Are these features on subscription? If so, how long do they give you for free? I think BMW gives you 3 or 4 not sure and MB gives you one year. I remember Lexus gave me a year free too. I personally wouldn't count on going 80 past a highway patrol. Consider yourself lucky if you haven't got caught. I only go 5 or less.
